Chesed Farms Talks Mushrooms with HomeTown.

We spend a lot of time with fungi at Chesed Farms. We are excited about what we do and how we do it, which you might know if you have visited us at one of our farmer’s market locations.

Chesed Farms started and grew through new beginnings, new friendships and a drive to foster community. The Farm isn’t just about food, it is part of the community and we believe it is important to put our heart into the food we produce.

During Chesed Farm's growth, we have built connections and community through providing fresh, local, gourmet mushrooms. As a farm, becoming a television personality wasn’t part of our resume but when Chesed Farms was asked to be a part of Hometown’s episode “The Heart of Food”, we knew that television was a great opportunity to share the “underground” process of mushroom growing.

Have you ever wondered how our mushrooms are grown? In The Heart of Food episode, Sundown Hazen shares about the growing process at Chesed Farms, not just our mushrooms but about the farm as a whole and its growth these past four years.

Check out the episode, read more about Chesed Farms journey in our blog posts and visit our Pinterest page for recipe ideas.
